M3R team is composed by professionals with a long experience in Environmental Biotechnology, highly specialized in the field of Environmental Remediation and Environmental Microbiology.
Graduated in Applied Biocatalysis and with a Ph.D in Environmental Sciences, she has gained a strong experience in the field of Environmental Microbiology and in the application of Molecular Biology techniques for the study of bioremediation processes of organic contaminants. CEO of M3R since 2019 and winner of the TheBreakFellowship program for young women entrepreneurs in 2022.
Tatiana Stella, Ph.D
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Graduated in Environmental Engineering and with a Ph.D in Environmental Sciences, she has strong experience in the fields of Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Analytical Chemistry, focused on the study of environmental matrices for the remediation of contaminated sites. CTO of M3R since 2019, she maintains solid commercial and research partnerships with industrial groups and universities in the field of environmental remediation.
Anna Espinoza, Ph.D
Business Developer
Associate Professor in Microbiology, and head of the Environmental Microbiology laboratory at the University of Milano-Bicocca, he has a long experience in the field of biological processes for the removal of contaminants from polluted sites. He has fifteen years of experience in the field of scientific research applied to environmental remediation, both as a member of research groups and as a coordinator.
Andrea Franzetti, Ph.D
Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)
Former commercial manager of several waste treatment plants quickly reached the position of technical director. He has extensive experience in the chemical-physical and biological treatment of contaminated wastes. Since 2011 he has worked freelance as a chemist and environmental consultant and collaborates with M3R on projects related to the biological treatment of contaminated soils.
Luigi Righini, MS
Quality Manager
Director of research and development of the Environmental Microbiology unit of the Belgian company PSMT, after obtaining his Ph.D. he continued to collaborate with the Belgian University of Hasselt as an expert in the field of bioremediation of soils and water contaminated by hydrocarbons. He has a strong experience in the application of biological technologies (phytoremediation) on a pilot and industrial scale for decontamination of polluted sites.
Panagiotis Gkorezis, Ph.D
Project Manager
Biotechnologist with strong expertise in environmental biotechnology, she earned her Ph.D. in Chemical, Geological, and Environmental Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca through an Industrial Ph.D. program in collaboration with M3R. She currently serves as Laboratory Manager and is also involved in the development of innovative molecular biology methods for monitoring microbial degradation processes in environmental matrices.
Francesca Formicola, MS
Laboratory Manager
With a Master’s degree in Sciences and Technologies for the Environment and the Territory at the University of Milano-Bicocca, she has strong skills in the field of Molecular Biology and Environmental Microbiology. Since 2022 she has been working with M3R as a laboratory technician, also collaborating in research and development projects.
Silvia Leoci, MS
Laboratory Assistant & PhD student
Graduated in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology. She spent a period as a research fellow at the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory of DISAT, where she gained experience in the field of Environmental Microbiology applied to bioremediation techniques. After that she worked several years in the field of traditional environmental remediation. She has been working with M3R as a project manager since 2023.
Valentina Rivelli, MS
Project Manager
Over the last decade, he has specialized in brownfield redevelopment and site sustainable and effective environmental remediation. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Environmental Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. Since 2024 holds the position in M3R holds the position of Technical Leader, as responsible for managing innovative technologies and solutions development and oversees R&D plan execution for the Company.
